Zelle is a United States based digital payments network owned by Early Warning Services, a private financial services company. They have developed an application which enables individuals to electronically transfer money from their bank account to another registered user’s bank account (within the United States) using a mobile device or the website of a participating banking institution. This instant payment service was launched in 2017. The first registration of this mark was done in 2016. Also, the company holds several domain name registrations incorporating the said mark, ‘Zelle’.The Respondent too started using the same mark for their own services and so, the Complainant’s have filed suit.

Disputed domain name identical and confusingly similar;
Has no rights or legitimate interest;
Registered in bad faith;
Ordered that the domain name be transferred to the Complainant.
