The complainant is the proprietor of the registered trademark “emirates” and first got its domain emirates.com registered in the year 1996 and is also the registrant of various domains such as emiratesgroup.com, emiratesholidays.biz etc,. Respondent registered the domain name “emiratesholidays.in” and hence the case

Findings & Award:

Disputed domain name identical and confusingly similar;

Has no rights or legitimate interest registered in bad faith;

Ordered that the domain name be transferred to the Complainant directing the respondent to pay 50000 towards cost of proceeding.
