Raja Pannir Selvam

Raja is the founding attorney and Managing Partner of Selvam & Selvam, with over 21 years of experience advising clients on IP protection, enforcement, and commercialisation. His practice focuses primarily on patents and trademarks, with extensive experience in patent filing strategies, prosecution, and commercialisation planning for clients across technology, bio-tech, pharma, and industrial sectors.

Beyond patent work, Raja handles the full spectrum of intellectual property matters, including trademark prosecution and enforcement, copyright protection, industrial designs, geographical indications, and domain name disputes. He also advises on commercial contracts and represents clients in IP litigation, bringing strategic counsel to complex infringement and enforcement matters.

Raja serves as an NIXI-appointed arbitrator for .in domain disputes and is an active member of INTA’s Commercialization of IP Committee, where he contributes to thought leadership on IP valuation and monetisation strategies. He is also a member of APAA, maintaining strong connections within the global IP community that enable seamless support across multiple jurisdictions.
